Northern Ireland Commission for Catholic Education: Post Primary Review

The Northern Ireland Commission for Catholic Education has announced that the deadline for the receipt of responses to the Post Primary Review consultation has been extended by one month. The initial deadline for responses was 31^st May but this has now been extended to the 30^th June.

Gerry Lundy, Director of the Post Primary Review, said: “Over the past number of weeks we have distributed over 100,000 copies of our project documents to schools across 16 areas in Northern Ireland. Each document sets out options or proposals to meet future challenges in each of the areas.

“It is vital that all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, pupils and all those with an interest in the long-term provision of education respond to the consultation and for that reason we have extended the deadline to 30^th June. We also welcome any alternative options or proposals to address the challenges in any area” he added.
